  East Chambers Varsity Buccaneers fell to Buna 7-2 on Thursday, April 17th.

  Buna were the first to get on the board in the second when Jackson Hartt singled, scoring one run.

  Buna added one run in the third after Colt Ashley singled down the right field line.

  Cole Midkiff earned the win for Buna. The starting pitcher allowed two hits and two runs (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out 12 and walking none. Hank Huff took the loss for East Chambers Varsity Buccaneers. The starter went six innings, surrendering seven runs (six earned) on 12 hits, striking out five and walking two.

  Sam Billeaudeau and Tanner Salazar were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for East Chambers Varsity Buccaneers. Jackson Seabaugh and Billeaudeau each collected one hit for East Chambers Varsity Buccaneers.

  Buna amassed 12 hits in the game. Ashley led Buna with three hits in four at bats. Dean Helm stole two bases. Buna ran wild on the base paths, piling up seven stolen bases for the game.
