St. Louis Catholic Church Bingo Fever

  Hundreds of people packed the Winnie Stowell Community Center for Winnie’s St. Louis Catholic Church annual bingo fundraiser this past Saturday night. The event was sponsored by The Knights of Columbus St. Martin Council 3452 with all proceeds benefitting St. Louis Catholic Church.

  It was a very enthusiastic crowd with loud applause being given to the bingo winners and the bingo prize donors. In addition to the game prizes, a dozen door prizes were awarded. A live auction was also held which provided for healthy bidding competition among the crowd. The Knights of Columbus under the guidance of Danny Drawhorn provided a delicious chili dinner and a seemingly endless supply of libations flowed freely all night!

  Many thanks to chairwoman Tammie Gilfillian, co-chairs Monica and Scott Jones and all the other committee members who worked hard to make the event a huge success. Also, many thanks to all the donors and prize sponsors for their generosity and support.
