This Easter, I want to pause and celebrate the true meaning of this holy day: the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Over 2,000 years ago, Jesus—fully God and fully man, willingly went to the cross to pay the price for our sins. He died a sinner’s death, though He was without sin, so that anyone who puts their faith in Him could be forgiven and receive eternal life. Three days later, He rose from the grave, defeating death and proving once and for all that He is the Son of God.
That is the Good News of Easter. It’s not just a story, it’s the foundation of our faith and the hope of the world. No matter who you are or what you’ve done, salvation is freely offered to you through Jesus Christ.
On this day last year, the Biden Administration chose to recognize “Transgender Day of Visibility” on Easter Sunday, a move that many people of faith saw as deeply disrespectful to the holiest day on the Christian calendar. But this year is different.
This Holy Week, President Trump honored Easter with prayer, worship, and a bold acknowledgment of Christ’s resurrection. That is a welcome reminder that our nation is once again embracing the values that made America great—faith, family, freedom, and the belief that we are one nation under God.
As we celebrate with our families and communities, I pray you know the joy and peace that comes only from knowing Christ personally. This is a season of hope—not because of politics or changing circumstances, but because of the unchanging truth of the Gospel.
He is risen—He is risen indeed.
