THE RESPECTED GULF COAST BRAND IS FORGING STRONG PARTNERSHIPS WITH GROUPS THROUGHOUT GOLDEN TRIANGLE COMMUNITY

BEAUMONT, April 30, 2026 – BB’s Tex-Orleans, the award-winning Houston-based restaurant group, has officially opened in Beaumont, Texas. The new outpost brings the total number of BB’s Tex-Orleans locations to 12.

Over the last few months, BB’s Tex-Orleans Beaumont focused on hiring locally, adding more than 70 jobs to the region. BB’s cultivates a successful promote-from-within culture: The overwhelming majority of BB’s management and other leadership roles are filled by team members who joined the company in entry-level positions. Also known for building strong ties within its communities, BB’s is committed to supporting key organizations throughout the Golden Triangle, from schools to youth sports.

Located at 2325 Calder Avenue, BB’s Tex-Orleans Beaumont marks the brand’s first expansion into Texas’ Golden Triangle. BB’s Tex-Orleans Beaumont will offer the same Texas spin on Cajun classics and Gulf Coast comfort food that has made BB’s a beloved destination for more than 18 years.

BB’s Tex-Orleans operates 11 outposts throughout the Houston region and one key location in Beaumont. BB’s Cajun Cantina, BB’s pioneering fusion of Cajun and Tex-Mex cuisines, is winning over crowds in San Antonio.

BB’s Tex-Orleans Beaumont occupies a roomy 3,200 square-foot interior plus an enormous patio encompassing approximately 5,000 square feet. Indoor capacity is 70, as well as seats for 10 at the bar. The patio can accommodate approximately 175, including a covered portion that seats 40. The jaw-dropping outdoor area offers families and friends plenty of room to relax, and will feature thoughtful touches including a large kids’ play space and a 225-inch outdoor screen, perfect for watching the big game. Then, there’s crawfish season: Nobody has mastered the art of boiling live mudbugs like BB’s Tex-Orleans, and crawfish boils are best enjoyed outside with a crowd.

BB’s signature blend of Louisiana and Texas cultures defines the new restaurant’s look and design, from rustic custom-built booths to the colorful handmade artwork that fills the walls. Emphases on comfort, family, and creativity underpin every BB’s space, mirroring the brand’s playfully brilliant culinary fusions.

On the menu, guests will enjoy the hearty home-style cooking Houstonians have loved for almost two decades. Fixtures include the best po’boys in Texas, featuring Leidenheimer Baking Company bread and spanning classics such as the Bedtime in the Bayou Po’boy stuffed with crisp, fried Gulf shrimp and dressed.

BB’s crawfish boils are a Texas rite of passage. Guests choose one of three boil seasonings: BB’s signature Tex-Orleans Way, a spicy butter and seasoning mix that’s topped with a sprinkling of BB’s savory dry spices; Bayou Style, BB’s spin on classic, spicy Louisiana Cajun comfort; and Citrus Garlic, featuring less heat and a crisp, robust blend of bright flavors. Next up, diners select a dipping sauce: melted buttergarlic buttercrawfish seasoningcitrus garlic pasteTex-Orleans paste, or BB’s signature dippin’ sauce, a creamy, mayo-based panacea with zesty citrus and a little heat. Available add-ons for the crawfish boil include boiled eggbutton mushroomscornred potatoPrasek’s Smoked Garlic Sausagealligator andouille sausage, Beaumont local favorite Zummo’s Green Onion Sausagesweet & spicy pineapple sausageBest Stop Smoked Boudin Link, and BB’s Monsta Greens, a medley of edamame, green beans, Brussels sprouts, and broccoli.

BB’s build-your-own boils also beckon, offering choices including shrimp and crab legs, plus all the savory fixin’s, BB’s signature spices, and dipping sauces. The fresh daily seafood doesn’t stop with BB’s boils. The Rockdale Redfish is a creamy, umami-packed favorite: grilled Texas farm-raised redfish, topped with andouille cream sauce and shrimp, served with a choice of side including Cajun Dirty Rice, green beans, fries, collard greens, elote, or Mac ‘n’ Cheese. Redfish lovers also opt for the Blackened Redfish Etouffee: Texas farm-raised redfish, plus a choice of shrimp or crawfish etouffee over white rice. Fresh salmon gets the Gulf Coast treatment for the Grilled Salmon Creole: grilled Chilean salmon, topped with creole lemon butter and a choice of one side. Regulars know to add the grilled shrimp for an extra $5.

Staples including Maw Maw’s Chicken and Sausage Gumbotender bone-in and boneless chicken wings, and fried Gulf Coast catches keep guests coming back. Daily specials promise something for everyone: Monday brings $5 regular-sized frozen cocktails all day; kids eat free Tuesday (2 kids meals per 1 adult entrée); Water Creature Wednesday featuring the beloved boiled crawfish 5 Pound Mound takes over midweek; Thursday draws for the 10 Wing Combo, made up of boneless or bone-in wings tossed in any BB’s flavor and served with fries for $15.99; and Friday is for the teachers, offering educators and administrators 1 free appetizer during happy hour (participants must show their school faculty badge; 1 appetizer per 2 people).

The Beaumont outpost also offers a full bar featuring refreshing margaritas and an extensive menu of frozen cocktails, plus so much more.

“We have already been so impressed by the people of Beaumont, but we aren’t surprised,” says Brooks Bassler, founder and CEO of BB’s Tex-Orleans. “These are hard-working, honest folks, and we all see Gulf Coast hospitality as a way of life. My grandmother Maw Maw was born in Winnie, and my great aunt still lives there. This is about family for us, and all of us at BB’s are determined to make the community proud.”
