On August 1, 2025, at approximately 11:23 a.m., Chambers County Interdiction Detectives pulled over a van near I-10 and Jenkins Road in Winnie. During the stop, the driver’s behavior raised red flags, prompting detectives to request a K-9 unit.

The K-9 gave a positive alert, and a search of the van turned up approximately 7.2 kilograms of cocaine and around 960 grams of THC products hidden inside the vehicle’s walls!

The driver, Dallas Brady from Dickinson, Texas, was arrested and charged with two first-degree felonies: Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Penalty Group 1) and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Penalty Group 2). He was booked into the Chambers County Jail.

The Chambers County Sheriff’s Office is committed to keeping dangerous drugs off our streets and making our community safer.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
