Coffee with a Cop Blue Santa Toy Drive Success

  The Seabreeze Beacon was proud to partner with the Winnie Stowell Lions Club and host its second annual Coffee with a Cop Operation Blue Santa Toy Drive.

  Dozens of local law enforcement stopped by The Seabreeze Beacon’s office in Winnie and enjoyed hot coffee with kolaches and donut holes. Numerous Winnie Stowell residents met and chatted with the deputies while dropping off toys for Chambers County’s children in need. Two large boxes and totes were filled to the brim with new toys for the kids. People also dropped off cash and checks so the Chambers County Sheriff Officers Association could purchase other items the children may need.

  As last year, it was a wonderful turnout! The deputies enjoyed meeting with local residents and vice versa. Everyone is looking forward to another great turnout next year!
