Former President Donald J. Trump was the target of an assassination attempt this past Saturday at a rally in Pennsylvania. A 20-year-old local man fired at the former President from the roof of a two-story building as Trump was six minutes into his speech to a crowd of thousands of people. The former President’s right ear was grazed by a bullet. Tragically, the shooter killed former firefighter Corey Comperatore and seriously wounded David Dutch and James Copenhaver. The shooter was immediately killed by secret service snipers.

The US Secret Service agency is under scrutiny as hundreds of witnesses describe seeing the shooter on the roof of the building before shots were fired. Some witnesses were screaming at police and secret service agents pointing to the position of the shooter.

   The investigation is ongoing.
