East Chambers Lady Bucs Basketball Overall 17-10, District 5-4

The East Chambers Lady Bucs hosted the Buna Lady Cougars on Tuesday, January 14th and defeated the Lady Cougars 44-40. The Lady Bucs were behind at half-time but came out with the victory.
They were led by #21 Mikeala Quave with 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals; #12 Ja’Mya Anderson with 11 points, 17 rebounds, 2 assists, 7 steals, and 1 block; and #22 Steely Franklin with 11 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block.
The Lady Bucs traveled the short distance to Anahuac to take on the Lady Panthers and defeated the Lady Panthers 46-6.
Leading the Lady Bucs were #22 Steely Franklin with 17 points; #21 Mikaela Quave with 9 points and 8 rebounds; #11 Mallory Frederick with 8 points and 7 steals; and #12 Ja’Mya Anderson with 11 rebounds and 6 steals.
The East Chambers Lady Bucs hosted the Kirbyville Lady Wildcats on Monday, January 20th.
The Lady Bucs will travel to Warren on Friday, January 24th to take on the Warren Lady Warriors.
