East Chambers Buccaneers vs. Anahuac Panthers

  East Chambers fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Anahuac on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 6-5. Unfortunately, that’s the second time they’ve come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-3 back in March.

  Hailey Hjelle spent all 7.1 innings on the mound, and it’s clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on eight hits.
