East Chambers Bass Club
The East Chambers Bass Club concluded their regular season with a double header tournament on Lake Sam Rayburn on March 15th and 16th. The weather was extremely windy, but with sunny skies which allowed many teams to locate fish on Saturday. Jacob Ebner weighed in one big fish at 3.91lbs. Dennis Greer and Samuel Finch weighed in four fish at 9.31lbs. and ended in 68th place. Drake Jordan and Brennon Opie weighed in five fish at 12.75lbs. and finished in 24th place. There were a total of 339 teams that finished on Saturday.
On Sunday, Drake Jordan and Brennon Opie weighed in four fish for a total of 5.92lbs. and found themselves in the top 100 for the day. Dennis Greer entered the Conservation Program contest, and was one of the five selected winners for the day. These tournaments also ended the Southeast Texas High School Fishing Association’s Angler of the Year competition. Drake Jordan and Brennon Opie with Captain Jeremiah Jordan, finished in 51st place out of 358 teams.
The EC teams had an outstanding regular season and are looking forward to fishing the Championship Tournament in May.
