East Chambers Cross Country Compete at the Anahuac Meet

   The EC cross-country team competed at Anahuac on Friday, September 20th and produced some solid results.

  The boys came in fifth overall with Augustine Granados coming in first. Agustin ran 18:21 and is improving every week. Freshman Cesar Vargas also did well and had his best time of the year.

  The girls placed 1st as a team for the third time this year. Mallory Frederick placed first with a 13:20, which is her best time of the year. Mikeala Quave came in third and ran a 14:08, Giselle Santana came in 12th, Karen Hernandez 17th, Tyler Stevens 20th, Andi Richard 25th, and Jadyn Smith 32nd. There were 85 total runners so great job girls.

  The next Cross Country Meet is Friday, September 27th in Liberty.
