Mathew 25: 1-13 1. “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.2. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish.3. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them,4. but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

This oil represents the Holy Spirit in our lives like the oil in a lamp. As the Holy Spirit (anointing) is used to minister in our walk with God, we must be refilled.

Every day life drains us. We are refilled through prayer; in other words, our personal relationship with God. You can’t have a personal relationship with God or anyone else if you don’t talk to them.

It is important to seek God for the next move He wants to do in our lives. We find ourselves wanting the same moves of God that happened 10 years ago.

We should seek God’s will for today, not yesterday. Through this process our oil will stay fresh and full. Life is not the same as it was 10 years ago.GOD DOESN’T CHANGE, WE DO.

I can’t do the things I could do 10 years ago. Life happens all around us and distracts us every day. If we will stay in tune with God our lives will be in a better position to receive.

I’ve found it is better to stay prepared because Jesus is coming soon. We can’t afford to play around in these last days. Stay prepared, don’t be like the 5 foolish virgins.
