Each year residents of the Winnie-Stowell community look forward to the annual 4th of July firework show held in the Winnie-Stowell park and hosted by the Winnie Area Chamber of Commerce. This year residents enjoyed free hot dogs and soft drinks, free ice cream, a watermelon eating contest, a parade, and a 26 minute long display of beautiful fireworks to celebrate the 4th of July.

The WACC would like to thank its many sponsors, without them this free event would not be possible. Thank you to: Vortech Contracting – Fireworks sponsor; Bayou Bend CCS – Safety sponsor; Winnie Dodge – Hot dog sponsor; Dairy Queen, Winnie – Ice cream sponsor; and Breaux’s Lawn Service – Soft drink sponsor.
