  It was a perfect evening for area kids of all ages to converge on Winnie Stowell Park, on Halloween, October 31st to participate in Winnie’s annual Trunk or Treat. Hundreds of children with their friends and families, some estimate closer to 1,000 attendees, visited over 50 organizations, businesses, and individuals “trunks” who handed out candy to all the enthusiastic kids.

  Special thanks to The Optimist Club for grilling hot dogs, David and Ed Murrell for cooking the delicious chili for the hot dogs, and for providing the soft drinks. Kudos to the Winnie Stowell Lions Club for popping popcorn for the masses!

  We were able to take some great pictures and apologies for not being able to identify everyone. Things were moving too fast!
