Senior Citizens November Thanksgiving Get Together

The Winnie-Stowell area Senior Citizens Get Together meets every month for a time of community fellowship, card games, and dominos. This months Get Together was held on Thursday, November 21st at the Winnie-Stowell Community Building. The Winnie Area Chamber of Commerce the special guest greeter, as wells as sponsoring the lunch. The Senior citizens enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving lunch and door prizes. Winnie-Stowell EMS was present to provided blood pressure checks.
The next Senior Citizen Get Together will be held in December at the Winnie-Stowell Community Building in the Winnie-Stowell Park. For more information or if you need transportation to the events, call Commissioner Gore’s office at 409-296-8250.
