Lady Panthers Volleyball Begin District Play (District 1-0, Overall 18-14)

  The Lady Panthers hosted the Kountze Lady Lions on Tuesday, September 10th and with a clean sweep, won all three sets: 25-16, 25-8, 25-12.

Stats for the game are as follows: #1 Ashton Rose 3 kills; #2 Abby Foster 4 kills, 1 ace, 1 dig, and 13 assists; #3 Maylee Wilcox 3 kills, an 2 digs; #5 Callie Henicke 1 dig, and1 assist; #7 Madison Willis 1 kill; #9 Gabby Palacios 5 digs, and 2 assists; #11 Cyann Cook 2 kills; #14 Avery Smith 2 digs, and 1 assist; and #15 Meg Kreuzer 4 kills, 2 aces, and 1 block.

  The Lady Panthers played at home again on Friday, September 13th as they hosted the Warren Lady Warriors and won again in a clean sweep: 25-18, 25-14, 25-10.

The Lady Panthers begin District ranked 2nd behind the Orangefield Lady Bobcats. The Lady Panthers hosted the East Chambers Lady Bucs on Tuesday, September 17th. On Friday, September 20th, the Anahuac Lady Panthers will host the Deweyville Lady Pirates with the Varsity game starting at 4:30pm.
