EC Buccaneers Track Competes at District

Buccaneers Place 2^nd with 152 points

  On Tuesday, April 1st and Thursday, April 3rd, the East Chambers Buccaneers traveled to Anahuac to compete in the district track meet. The Buccaneers placed 2nd with 152 points.  

Running event results are as follows:

3200m: 1st place- Agustin Granados 11:25.64; 2nd place- Aiden Singh 11:57.15

1600m: 1st place- Agustin Granados 5:05.44; 3rd place- Aiden Singh 5:10.29; 11th place- Drew Frederick 5:29.18

800m: 1st place – Agustin Granados 2:16.21; 5th place- Aden Thornton 2:20.52; 7th place- Drew Frederick 2:21.70

400m: 2nd place- Adan Garcia 53.78; 4th place- Braylin Harbor 54.52; 8th place- Evan Callahan 58.16

200m: 1st place- Corbyn Moore 22.86; 6th place- Luke Hampton 24.74; 7th place- Adan Garcia 25.37

100m: 2nd place- Corbyn Moore 10.77; 3rd place- Jarrell smith 10.83; 7th place-Tai’Veon Harmon 11.39

110m Hurdles: 6th place- Christian Carter 20.56

4×100 Relay: 2^nd place 44.45- Bryce Guillory, KJ Fontenot, Coby West, Jarell Smith

4×200 Relay: 1st place 1:30.29-KJ Fontenot, Corbyn Moore, Coby West, Jarell Smith

4×400 Relay: 1st place 3.34.45- Tai’Veon Harmon, Luke Hampton, KJ Fontenot, Coby West

Field event results are as follows:

Long Jump: 3rd place- Jarrell Smith 20’4”; 4th^t place – Tai’Veon Harmon19’19”

Triple Jump: 5th place- Braylin Harbor 40’1”; 7th place – Evan Callahan 38’11”; 8th place –Drew Frederick 38’8”

Discus: 9th place- Christian Chavez 113’2”

Shot Put: 9th place- Sean Beighley 36’ 6.25”

  The Buccaneers will travel to Diboll on April 9^th to compete in the Area track meet.
