EC Buccaneers Track Advance to Regionals

Buccaneers Place 3rd at Area with 81 points

  On Wednesday, April 9th, the East Chambers Buccaneers traveled to Diboll to compete in the Area track meet. The Buccaneers placed 3rd with 81 points. he highest point earner for the Bucs was Jarrell Smith with 20 points, followed by Corbyn Moore with 18 points.

Running event results are as follows:
3200m: 5th place- Aiden Singh 11:32.57
1600m: 7th place- Aiden Singh 5:12.66
800m: 8th place- Aden Thornton 2:18.30
400m: 6th place- Braylin Harbor 54.33; and 7th place- Adan Garcia 54.49
200m: 1st place- Corbyn Moore 22.08
100m: 1st place- Jarrell Smith 10.59; and 2nd place-Corbyn Moore 10.78
4×100 Relay: 2nd place 43.31- Bryce Guillory, KJ Fontenot, Jacob Weber, and Gauge Tenopir
4×200 Relay: 1st place 1:28.42-Kj Fontenot, Jacob Weber, Colby West, and Hank Huff
4×400 Relay: 5th place 3.34.45- Tai’veon Harmon, Gauge Tenopir, KJ Fotenot, and Hank Huff

Field event results are as follows:
Long Jump: 1st place- Jarrell Smith 22’4 1/4; 7tht place – Tai’veon Harmon 20’2 3/4”

  The Buccaneers will travel to Huntsville on Friday, April 18th and Saturday, April 19th to compete in the Regional Track Meet.
