The 2024-2025 East Chambers Buccaneer Swim Team has advanced to State for the third consecutive year. They competed in the Region 3-4A meet Friday, January 31st – Saturday, February 1st at Lamar High School in Houston.

Relay Success:
The 200 freestyle relay team of Hayden LeVeck, Reid Todd, Koby Jones, and Chip Franklin was on a mission. They went in ready to race and left their mark in a big way—breaking the Region 3-4A record! In the preliminaries on Friday, the relay team swam a 1:37.84. The previous record was 1:37.81 in 200 freestyle relay. The Bucs had set a goal and broke the Region 3-4A record with a time of 1:37.57! Way to go Bucs!
To close out the meet, Hayden, Chip, Drew, and Koby took on the 400 freestyle relay. Coach Todd said, “This race was intense! Our boys took care of business in the pool, held onto their lead, and finished 1st!”
State Qualifiers:
The East Chambers Buccaneer Swim team will compete February 12th – February 14th at the 4A State Championship Meet in San Antonio at the Josh Davis Natatorium. Good luck Bucs!
