Easter Cheer Abounds!

    Good Friday was a day hundreds of Winnie area residents spent participating in Easter activities in anticipation of Easter Sunday. Over 500 parents and grandparents with their youngsters participated in the 2^nd Annual Grace Methodist Church Easter egg hunt and festivities in Winnie Stowell Park. The Arboretum of Winnie held its annual Easter egg hunt for the community. Residents enjoyed spending time with their families and friends and having their picture taken with the Easter bunny. And, it would not be good Friday without The Knights of Columbus St. Martin Council 3452 Good Friday Fish Fry! Close to 500 meals were served.

  The weather cooperated this year and everyone enjoyed the Easter activities. Until next year!
