East Chambers Runnin’ Bucs Basketball

The East Chambers Runnin’ Bucs hosted the Buna Cougars on Tuesday, January 14th and defeated the Cougars 66-50 in 22-3A action.
The Buccaneers played great in the first half but got sloppy in the second half especially the fourth quarter. Leading scorers for the Runnin’ Bucs were Jaxson Pitre with 15 points, Jarrell Smith and Dayvon Wallace with 14 points, and Colby West with 10 points.
The East Chambers Runnin’ Bucs traveled the short distance to Anahuac to take on the Anahuac Panthers and defeated the Panthers 51-43 tonight on Friday, January 17th.
Very hard-nosed game in which the Runnin’ Bucs struggled offensively. Leading the Bucs were Jaxson Pitre with 20 points and Jarrell Smith with 10 points.
The East Chambers Runnin’ Bucs are now 20-7 on the year and 6-1 in district. Geaux Bucs!
The Runnin’ Bucs hosted the Kirbyville Wildcats on Monday, January 20th.
The East Chambers Runnin’ Bucs will travel to Warren on Friday, January 24th to take on the Warren Warriors.
