East Chambers Buccaneers Captured by the Rice Consolidated Raiders 0-27

   Friday Night Lights are back and what the Bucs hoped for a win or even a few points on the scoreboard, turned to be a blow out. On Friday, August 30th, the East Chambers Buccaneers hosted the Rice Consolidated Raiders with a final score of 0-27.

   With 3:15 left in the first quarter, the Raiders scored a touchdown and put the first points on the board.

    The Buccaneers were led by QB #3 KJ Fontenot with 2 of 8 passes for a total of 12 yards, sacked 4 times, 7 carries for a total of 85 yards, and 1 punt for 28 yards. Also, QB #11 Koby Jones was 1 of 8 for passing with a total of 10 yards.

    East Chambers rushed for a total of 146 yards. Rushing for the Bucs #4 E Ceasar with 6 carries for 5 yards; #0 Jarrell Smith with 2 carries for 11 yards; #5 Xavier Green with 2 carries for 6 yards; #15 Ricardo Lopez with 1 carry for 5 yards; #11 Koby Jones with 2 carries for 21 yards; and #9 Tatum Brasseaux with 4 carries for 13 yards.

   Receiving for the Bucs: #0 Jarrell Smith with 1 reception for 5 yards; #5 Xavier Green with 1 reception for 10 yards; and #4 E Ceasar with 1 reception for 7 yards.

   The Buccaneers were led defensively by: #7 Reid Todd with 9 solo tackles, and 1 assist; #8 Ethan Cart with 4 solo tackles, 5 assists, and 3 tackles for loss; and #52 Aiden Baker with 5 solo tackles, and 1 assist.

   Kicking for the Bucs #6 Adan Garcia with 1 kickoff for a total of 40 yards.

   The Buccaneers travel to Sour Lake on Friday, September 6th to take on the Hardin-Jefferson Hawks with kickoff at 7:30pm.
