The Bucs traveled to Liberty on Friday, February 27th to take on the Panthers. EC had a slight edge in possession in the first half. The Bucs would take 4 shots in the half, but only managed one goal. The Buc defense did not allow Liberty any shots the first half and would take a 1-0 lead into halftime. The Bucs continued their offensive control over the Panthers taking 7 shots in the second half, scoring 4 goals. The defense continued to dominate the second half, only allowing the Panthers 3 shots and held them scoreless. The Bucs would defeat Liberty 5-0. The Bucs are currently in second place in the district. East Chambers will host the Huffman Falcons Tuesday night with the winner taking first place in the District standings.
