The Bucs hosted the Liberty Panthers Friday night in their first District game. The Bucs would take a 2-1 lead into halftime. EC would come out strong in the 2nd half, scoring in the first minute of possession. The Bucs would score again in the second half and come away with a 4-1 win.

Defensively the Bucs were led by Cesar Vargas (14 steals), Max Vargas (14 steals), Ricardo Lopez (13 steals), Cristhian Chavez (11 steals), Jose Rufino (10 steals), Mario Herrera (9 steals) and Bryan Chavez (8 steals).
Goalkeeper Anthony Gomez had 4 saves and 1 block

District Record: 1-0-0
Bucs continue District play at Huffman Hargrave on Tuesday, February 10th. The Buccaneers will then host Livingston on Friday, February 13th at 7:00pm.
