The rain did not stop the standing room only crowd last week when Common Cents Credit Union (CCCU) officially opened its new headquarters at 1315 SH124 in Winnie, Texas.

Vice President of Marketing Tish Cornell greeted everyone and thanked the crowd for coming despite the rain. “We planned on doing this outside,” said Cornell, “but this is nice so everyone can see the wonderful space in the new building.” Danielle Goff, CEO of CCCU, spoke of CCCU’s desire to become an important part of Winnie and the surrounding community. “This beautiful building is really for you, the community, so you can enjoy being here conducting your business and helping the Winnie community to thrive.”

Also in attendance was Kenneth Thibodeaux, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and board members Dennis O’Pry, Russell Breaux, Matt Russell, and COO Jennifer Kelly, Vice President of Lending Kelly Davis and the Winnie branch manager Shana Minehart and several members of the CCCU team.

CCCU will be announcing the “Christmas in July” savings incentive next week.
