Buccaneers Take Down the Coldspring Trojans 47-18

The East Chambers Bucs traveled to Coldsrping on Friday, October 18th to take on the Fighting Trojans and came home with the victory 47-18.

Offensive Stats and Highlights:

The Buccaneers were led by QB #3 KJ Fontenot with 9 of 13 passes for a total of 166 yards, 2 TDs, and 4 carries for a total of 14 yardsFontenot also threw 1 interception.

East Chambers rushed for a total of 313 yards. Rushing for the Bucs #0 Jarrell Smith with 5 carries for 57 yards, and 1 kickoff return for 21 yards; #4 Earius Ceasar with 4 carries for 20 yards, 1 TD, and 1 kickoff return for 17 yards; #8 Ethan Cart with 2 carries or 21 yards; #9 Tatum Brasseaux with 7 carries for 58 yards, and 2 TDs; and #11 Koby Jones with 20 carries for 143 yards, and 2 TDs.

Receiving for the Bucs: #0 Jarrell Smith with 3 receptions for 96 yards, and 1 TD; #2 Colby West with 4 receptions for 53 yards and 1 TD; #4 Earius Ceasar with 1 reception for 15 yards; and #24 Luke Hampton with 1 reception for 2 yards .

Defensive Stats and Highlights:

The Buccaneers were led defensively by: #8 Ethan Cart with 8 solo tackles, 1 assist, and 1 tackle for loss; #4 Earius Ceasar with 4 solo tackles, and 3 assists; #15 Ricardo Lopez with 3 solo tackles, and 4 assists; #52 Aiden Baker with 4 solo tackles, and 1 assist; #1 Kyler Smith with 3 solo tackles, 2 assists, 1 sack, and 1 fumble recover; #10 Darius Edmonson with 3 solo tackles, and 2 assists; #30 David Lopez with 2 solo tackles, and 1 tackle for loss; and #44 Sean Beighley with 1 solo tackle, 1 assist, and 1 tackle for loss.

Kicking for the Bucs #6 Adan Garcia with 6 kickoffs and 5-7 field goals.

The Bucs are still 3rd in District behind the Orangefield Bobcats (1st) and the Anahuac Panthers (2nd). They are 5-2 Overall and 3-1 in District play.

The Buccaneers will honnor their Seniors at Senior Night on Friday, October 25th and will host the Kirbyville Wildcats with kickoff at 7:30pm.
