The Anahuac Panthers hosted Lutheran South Academy on Friday, September 19th as they celebrated homecoming.
Anahuac was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 23-7 bruising from the Lutheran South Academy Pioneers. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Pioneers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.
The critical scores for Lutheran South Academy came from Carson Rocha, Noah Harris, and Cade Griffin.
Anahuac’s defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lutheran South Academy, their record is now 3-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Anahuac will challenge Kirbyville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 26th. The Panthers will be up against the Wildcats’ rather soft defense (which has allowed 34 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
