East Chambers Lady Bucs Basketball Overall 19-12, District 7-6

The East Chambers Lady Bucs hosted the Orangefield Lady Bobcats on Tuesday, January 28th and fell short to the Lady Bobcats 25-56. The Lady Bucs struggled throughout the game to an aggressive Lady Bobcat defense.
The Lady Bucs were led by #21 Mikeala Quave with 10 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 steals; #12 Ja’Mya Anderson with 5 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 7 deflections, and 4 steals; #11 Mallory Frederick with 4 points, 5 rebounds, 6 deflections, and 1 steal; #33 Gracie McDaniel with 4 points, and 6 rebounds; #3 Jimena Vargas with 1 point, and 1 steal; and #2 Faith Young with 1 point, 1 rebound, and 1 deflection.
The Lady Bucs traveled to Hardin on Friday, January 31st to take on the Lady Hornets and in a close game, the Lady Bucs squished the Lady Hornets with a final score of 36-34.
Leading the Lady Bucs were #22 Steely Franklin with 13 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 deflection; #12 Ja’Mya Anderson with 8 points, 13 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 deflections, and 4 steals; #21 Mikeala Quave with 7 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist; #11 Mallory Frederick with 3 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 deflections, and 2 steals; #1 Hailey Hjelle with 2 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 steal; and #33 Gracie McDaniel with 2 points, 1 rebound, and 1 deflection.
The East Chambers Lady Bucs hosted the Kountze Lady Lions at Senior Night on Tuesday, February 4th.
