Lady Panthers Volleyball Hold on to 1st in District (District 5-1, Overall 23-15

The Lady Panthers hosted Hardin on Tuesday, October 1st as they took on the Lady Hornets and lost 1-3 (15-25, 22-25, 25-14, 23-25).

Stats for the game are as follows: #1 Ashton Rose 5 kills, 1 ace, 6 digs, and 1 assist; #2 Abby Foster 4 kills, 3 aces, 4 digs, and 19 assists; #3 Maylee Wilcox 3 kills, 1 ace, and 1 dig; #5 Callie Henicke 9 digs; #9 Gabby Palacios 1 kill, 1 ace, and 5 digs; #11 Cyann Cook 1 kill, 2 aces, 1 block, and 1 dig; #14 Avery Smith 5 digs; and #15 Meg Kreuzer 9 kills, 4 aces, 6 blocks, and 3 digs.

The Lady Panthers hosted the Orangefield Lady Bobcats on Friday, October 4th, and won in a clean sweep (25-23, 25-11, 25-19).

Stats for the game are as follows: #1 Ashton Rose 2 kills, 1 block, 6 digs, and 1 assist; #2 Abby Foster 1 kill, 1 ace, and 1 dig; #3 Maylee Wilcox 2 kills, and 1 dig; #4 Rai’Ana Lewis 2 kills; #5 Callie Henicke 4 digs, and 1 assist; #9 Gabby Palacios 2 digs, and 2 assists; #11 Cyann Cook 1 block, and 2 digs; and #15 Meg Kreuzer 11 kills, 1 ace, 2 blocks, and 3 digs.

The Lady Panthers traveled to Kountze on Tuesday, October 8th as they took on the Lady Lionettes. The Anahuac Lady Panthers will be on the road again on Friday, October 11th, as they will take the short trip to Winnie to take on the East Chambers Lady Buccaneers with the Varsity game starting at 4:30pm.
