East Chambers Cross Country Compete at the Zavalla Meet

The EC cross country team competed in the Zavalla meet on Friday, September 27th. The course was already rough, but was made even more difficult with the muddy and wet conditions.

The Bucs and Lady Bucs still performed well even with the wet conditions.

The Lady Bucs came in 1st and were led by Mallory Frederick-2nd, Mikeala Quave-6th, Giselle Santana-15th, Karen Hernandez-20th, Andi Richard-29, and Tyler Stevens-31. (120 runners)

JV girls also came in 1st and were led by Arely Santana-8th, Marili Valasquez 11th, Ja’mya Anderson-12th, and Isabella Quave-13th.

The boys came in fifth overall with Agustin Granados placing second, Brian Chavez-24th, and Aiden Sing- 26th.

The JV boys did well, as they finished 2nd. Top finishers for the boys were Cam Dillard-7th, Sammy Stramecki-12th, and Jaxson Pitre-13th.

Geaux Bucs and Lady Bucs!

The next Cross Country Meet is Thursday, October 3rd in Huffman.
