Despite the rainy weather last Saturday, Chambers County Republican Women (CCRW) gathered en masse at the waterfront home of Loretta and Mike Emmons in Oak Island to celebrate the GOP nominees for office in the November 3rd general election.

Close to 100 people enjoyed the street tacos and quesadillas provided by food truck favorite The Beginning, open bar was provided by The Oak Island Yacht Club’s Marlon Davis, and delicious cupcakes were courtesy of The Evolving Baker’s Morgan Sanford of Hockley.

CCRW President Rachal Hisler welcomed everyone. The crowd cheered enthusiastically as Hisler “rallied the troops” to keep on fighting for a “red” win in November.

Close to a dozen members of the CCRW will be attending the Texas GOP convention in Houston this week. Hisler will serve as the Chairman of the Legislative Priorities Committee for the Republican Party of Texas and Emmons will serve on the committee. Emmons will also be the Senate District 4 representative.

The Seabreeze Beacon will provide an update on the Republican Party of Texas convention in next week’s issue.
