This year, we are honoring Alma Lois Turner in our Western Pleasure Memorial Buckle Class. Alma Lois was a distinguished community leader in Chambers County and a pioneer in public service. Alma Lois Turner played a pivotal role in the development of the Texas Rice Festival Open Horse Show from its very beginning in 1970. Her vision, leadership, and dedication to the local equestrian community helped establish the event as a beloved tradition that continues to thrive more than five decades later. We are looking forward to celebrating Alma Lois and spending the day with you all.
