15th Annual Tree of Angels Ceremony to Remember Victims of Violent Crimes

  Chambers County District Attorney Cheryl Lieck hosted the 15th annual Tree of Angels Ceremony to remember victims of violent crimes in Chambers County. “Today, we remember those taken from us and stand with the survivors who carry their light. The Tree of Angels reminds us that hope endures, and our commitment to seek justice and support victims never wavers,” said Henry.

 Dozens of law enforcement officers plus members of each victim’s families placed an angel on the beautiful Christmas tree as the victim’s name was read. They are Chambers County Deputy Shane Detwiler, Jessica Cain, Krystal Baker, Larry James Henderson, Mayson Lewis, Daniel Burrell, Jonathan Castillo, Nelson Redmon, Jr., Cheryl Congleton, April Forney, Alex Chavez, Jarvis Morgan, Jermy Christ, Leslie “Bubby” Larrison, Daisie Poole, Lilliann Poole, Melba Jean Dockins Campbell, Tyler Enderli, Damon Miller, Justin Stasny, Cameron Norton, Ronnie McGhee, Larry Smith, David Davis, Christopher Pate, Denroy Virgil, Dereck Munoz, Jackie Dubendorf, Joseph LaDay, Nicol Campise, Kameron Shinner, Robert Leger, Jr., Demarcus Wilson, Crystal McDowell, Betty Blaire Justin Berry, Xicotencatl Vega, Gregory Kenard, Dominique “Nikki” Schliske, Scott Privat, Michael Counce, Kristina Payne, Laura Grant, Chelsea Grant, Zach Miles, Will Bowles, Jared Alphonso, Willie Woolridge, Gregory Galomo, Joseph Hartsfield, Ja’Vion West, Treveyn Williams, Kailei Rhodes, Presley Cauthen, Daniel Howey, Romeo Jimerson, Robyn Stanley, Ginny Bagby, Adrian Combs, Hunter Creel, Brian Yarbrough, Christopher White, Jeremiah Conde, and “unknown victims”.
