A new year always seems to bring with it, self-examination. Where you are. Where you’re not. What you’ve accomplished. What you need to get better at. We can always look back and regret doing or saying some things. We will never regret the moments we say “Yes” to God. Because saying yes to God opens doors that ordinarily would be closed. When was the last time we said, “God, I say yes to you”. Jesus said in Luke 9:23 “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. Another translation says it this way: Then he told them what they could expect for themselves: “Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You’re not in the driver’s seat—I am. Things go much better for us when we acknowledge God is at the wheel. If you need 2026 to look different’ make sure God is in the driver’s seat. Listen to what He says. Then do it.
