Rising Fast: ECJH’s Braydon Roberts Vaults Into National Spotlight

  East Chambers is watching something special take flight.

  East Chambers Junior High standout Braydon Roberts is quickly making a name for himself as one of the top young pole vaulters in the country.

  The seventh grader delivered a breakthrough performance at the Summer National Pole Vault Championships, clearing a personal-best 11 feet, 6 inches and finishing 6th in the nation in the 13–14 age division.

  That mark doesn’t just place him among the elite—it confirms it.

  Roberts is currently ranked among the top vaulters in the United States for his age group, earning All-American honors after just a few months in the sport.

  Even more impressive? He’s already surpassing marks set by the nation’s top-ranked competitors.

  Roberts’ rapid rise has come while competing locally for East Chambers, where he’s helped put the program on the map.

  And he’s not alone—his brother Bryson is also making waves, clearing 8 feet, 6 inches on the national stage, adding to a remarkable summer for the Buccaneers.
