It was a hot steamy afternoon but that didn’t stop close to 200 Riceland Healthcare’s employees and their families enjoy an afternoon of good food and camaraderie as Riceland Healthcare hosted its annual Employee Appreciation Lunch this past Saturday at the hospital’s campus. The kids enjoyed the castle water slide and the “bubble bath”. And everyone enjoyed the endless delicious, boiled crawfish and fried catfish with all the fixins’!

Riceland Senior Vice President Robert Jackson, Chief Operating Officer Mo Danishmund, and Hospital Administrator Suggie Daigle welcomed everyone and enjoyed meeting the families of the employees. Former congressman and Riceland Senior Vice President Nick Lampson and his wife Susan also attended the lunch.

Riceland Healthcare has been a staple in the Winnie community since its purchase of the Winnie Community Hospital in 2014. The hospital offers a variety of services including a 24/7 emergency room, in-patient medical unit, swing bed program, primary care clinic, physical therapy, and behavioral health. For appointments and additional information, call 409-296-6000. The hospital is located at 538 Broadway Ave, Winnie, Texas 77665.
