Last week, President Trump delivered a powerful Joint Address to Congress, showcasing a stark contrast to the past four years. In just weeks, he has moved at record speed to secure our border, tackle inflation, cut reckless spending, unleash American energy, and restore common sense to Washington. His unwavering commitment to putting America First is already making a difference for East Texas families.
He laid out a bold vision, one where freedom thrives, government overreach is eliminated, and every American has the opportunity to prosper. President Trump made it clear: power belongs to We the People, and the American Dream is alive and well.
Unfortunately, Democrats chose politics over patriotism. They refused to escort the President into the Chamber which is customary, remained seated as he honored inspiring guests, including a child with cancer, a West Point-bound teenager, and families of fallen heroes, and held protest signs throughout his speech.
No matter the distractions, we remain focused on delivering real results. I will continue working alongside President Trump to advance his America First agenda. We’ve made great strides, but the best is yet to come!
