Under the cover of darkness at night in Iran, the United States implemented Operation Midnight Hammer taking out and obliterating Iran’s nuclear enrichment sites. These sites included Natanz, Isfahan, and, arguably, the most critical and protected site that is deep within a mountain, the uranium enrichment site of Fordo. Over the past week, Israel initially conducted a surprise attack on Iran’s air defenses, ballistic missiles, and nuclear sites. Israel has continued to attack Iran ever since then and has complete control of Iranian air space.
The attacks by the Americans demonstrated to the world that the United States can strike anywhere in the world and at any time. How did the US take out these sites? It was not an easy feat. The United States used over 125 aircraft including 7 B-2 stealth bombers carrying two 30,000-pound bunker buster bombs (Massive Ordinance Penetrators) each in their weapons bay, dozens of refueling aircraft, and around 100 fighter jets protecting the ordinance packages of the B-2s. The United States is the only nation that has the coveted bunker buster bombs, and this was the first time that the United States used the bunker buster bomb in an operational setting. From the sea, a hidden guided missile submarine delivered approximately 75 precision guided Tomahawk missiles that struck primarily the Isfahan site and other Iranian targets to ensure a safe airspace for our bombers to operate freely within Iranian skies to carry out their attacks in the heart of Iran. As the “strike package” approached Fordo and Natanz, the US deployed “high suppression weapons” to soften the targets and to allow for a safer approach of our bombers.
Critical assessments are still underway, but Operation Midnight Hammer seems to be a huge success. “The president authorized a precision operation to neutralize the threats to our national interests posed by the Iranian nuclear program and the collective self-defense of our troops and our ally, Israel,” Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told reporters today. 14 bunker buster bombs were dropped on the nuclear enrichment sites of Natanz and Fordo. Defense Secretary Hegseth stressed that these attacks were not about regime change. But if Iran were to have a nuclear bomb that would not only threaten Israel’s existence but world order as well.
Since 2011, President Donald Trump has been explicitly clear that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. In 2016, President Barack Hussein Obama defied the free world and American citizens and delivered $1.7 billion in numerous pallets of cold hard cash to the Iranians in an overnight delivery. There is no question that the Ayatollahs of Iran used Obama’s cash gift to strengthen their nuclear ambitions and to fund proxy terrorists throughout the region such as Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis terrorist organizations to name a few. Iran became so close to having a nuclear weapon, that President Trump essentially had no choice but to attack. Iran began to fire their ballistic missiles into civilian areas. It could be said that this was a tipping point that brought the United States into the conflict. Fortunately, Israeli missile defense systems, Iron Dome and David’s Sling, and the American Patriot Missiles, have intercepted and stopped over 81% of Iran’s missiles directed at the Jewish state.
After a very successful mission, Americans and Israelis are waiting for Iran’s retaliation if any. President Trump has been clear that he wants peace. As he says, “strength before peace”. American military bases and assets in the area are on high alert awaiting an Iranian attack. Through God’s grace, the Americans and Israelis will be safe from an Iranian surprise attack. There is a fear nationwide of “sleeper cells” hiding within our nation. Major cities have increased their patrols of likely targets such as churches and public gatherings. If you see something, say something.
Who knows what is to come from Operation Midnight Hammer. The best result will be the complete annihilation of the Iranian uranium enrichment sites. It is unlikely, but Iranian leadership is boasting that they can repair certain nuclear sites “within months”. With President Trump in power, this is likely not to happen. Between American and Israeli attacks, the Iranian leadership has been subdued and rebuilding their enrichment sites is highly unlikely. It is notable that there was not one single leak from the Trump Administration about Operation Midnight Hammer to anyone.
America is back!
