Little Thoughts November 13th, 2024

We live in a crazy world. It’s crazy because it is inhabited by people who are crazy. What is my definition of crazy? If your reality is a lie, you are crazy. You will base your feelings and make decisions based on error. That will not work, but if you are convinced it is true you will stubbornly stay on that wrong road that will take you where you don’t want to go. What is the alternative? Jesus said, “If you continue in My word, you are really my disciples, and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.” Lies lead to Satan (a liar) and hell. Truth leads to God and heaven. Truth is not always pleasant or what we want, but it is always truth and cannot be ignored forever. The time someone ignores truth may seem to be the best of times and very enjoyable, but eventually the fruit of the lies appears and then comes the heartbreak of believing lies. Depression, anxiety, mental problems, physical problems, and relationship problems. It is no way to live. The real truth, Jesus’ as opposed to ours, will set us free. Really free. Many believe just doing whatever they want is freedom. No. Just the opposite. Believe Jesus.
