Do you believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ? If you grew up around Christians and attending church, I think the answer would be “Yes!”, but I would advise you to go slow. Just because you are surrounded by claimers, don’t just say it because of their belief. It needs to be something that you are convinced of personally, individually. It’s important. It makes all the difference. “If Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless, you are still in your sins.” (1 Corinthians 15:7) Christ did not come and accidentally die; He purposefully, innocently suffered and died forgiving the sins of all who believe on His works, and He crowned it all by defeating death by rising from the dead, defeating death and showing that death could not hold Him. We believe in life after death for us based, not on a God that just allows all to sinfully enter heaven for all eternity, but because Christ was busy fixing all who believe on Him, as righteous ones to experience true life. We need to base our belief in God and eternal life all on Jesus’s resurrection.
