The High Island Varsity Football traveled to Baytown Christian, and fought hard until the end but couldn’t come up with the victory. The Cardinals will be getting back together as they will be preparing for Faith Academy this week at home to regain some momentum. Coach King and Coach G are working hard getting the boys ready and are keeping the motivation and the players head up! Coach says “success doesn’t happen overnight but, it’s going to take lots of discipline, desire and dedication to get where we want to be”. Coach King also says that they’re doing lots of great things here and that there has been a big difference in the program! The Cardinals are sitting at 1-2 and we still have time to pick it up and get things back in order, our main goal is to still make the playoffs this year and we’re going to do everything we can to get our players where we need to be!

The Cardinals will host Faith Academy on Friday, September 27th with kickoff at 7:00pm. The Cardinals will also be celebrating Homecoming.
