ECYB 10U Dixie Youth Baseball Division II AAA World Champions

 They’re bringing home the hardware! The East Chambers Youth Baseball 10U All-Star team made history on Monday, July 27th in Laurel, MS. These 10 and under All-Star athletes represented not only the great state of Texas, but the community of Winnie.  In a final championship game over Arkansas, Texas closed out the game 14-6. They were undefeated throughout the World Championship series. Since District playoffs, the ECYB 10U All-Stars scored 236 runs and allowed only 50 runs. This was an amazing feat for these athletes!

  Coach Cade Barrow stated, “We couldn’t be more proud as coaches of this tremendous group of athletes. These boys have worked their tails off to get here. They put in the work, and it has definitely paid off. We knew coming in that it was gonna be a tough task competing on the biggest stage they can possibly compete on as 10 year olds. We were down multiple times in several ballgames, but they never gave up. They exceeded all our expectations. We can’t wait to see what they’ll do in the future. Go Bucs!”

  There will be a community celebration on Saturday, August 1st at 6:00pm at the Winnie-Stowell Community Building. Come out and celebrate with these young athletes!
