The EC Volleyball Camp brought young athletes together for three days of instruction, competition, and fun at the East Chambers High School gym. Hosted by the East Chambers High School volleyball program, the camp ran from June 29 through July 1 and welcomed incoming 1st through 9th grade students of all skill levels.
Campers were divided into age-appropriate groups, with sessions for 1st-4th grades, 5th-7th grades, and 8th-9th grades, allowing each athlete to receive instruction suited to their experience level. Throughout the camp, players worked with the East Chambers High School volleyball coaches and players, who focused on teaching volleyball fundamentals, improving individual skills, encouraging teamwork, and building confidence on the court.
In addition to drills and game play, campers enjoyed themed spirit days, including Camo Day on Monday, Neon Day on Tuesday, and Green Out on Wednesday, adding extra excitement to the week.
The annual camp continues to provide a positive environment where young athletes can develop their volleyball abilities while getting to know the Buccaneer volleyball program. Coaches were encouraged by the enthusiasm and effort shown by every participant and thanked parents for their support throughout the event.
