EC Lady Bucs Win the Big Sandy Tournament 4-0

    The EC Lady Bucs traveled to Buna on Tuesday, December 3rd to take on the Lady Cougars and fell short 34-36.

    They were led by #21 Mikeala Quave with 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 steals; #5  Jayda Leday with 9 points and 9 rebounds; #3 Jimena Vargas with 5 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block; #4 Zoe Selby with 3 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 steal; #10 Isabella Quave with 1 point and 1 rebound; and #33 Gracie McDaniel with 1 point and 6 rebounds. 

    The EC Lady Bucs traveled to Dallardsville to compete in the Big Sandy Tournament on Thursday, December 5th – Saturday, December 7th. The Lady Bucs were undefeated and the tournament champions!

   Game 1: EC 35 vs Tarkington 30

Leading the Lady Bucs were #11 Mallory Frederick with 8 points and 5 rebounds; #12 Ja’Mya Anderson with 7 points and 6 rebounds; #4 Zoe Selby with 7 points; #5 Jayda Leday with 5 points and 7 rebounds; #21 Mikeala Quave with 4 points nad 4 rebounds; #3 Jimena Vargas with 3 points; and #10 Isabella Quave with 2 points and 1 rebound.

    Game 2: EC 48 vs Coldspring 32

Leading the Lady Bucs were #11 Mallory Frederick with 15 points and 1 rebound; #12 Ja’Mya Anderson with 14 points and 13 rebounds; #5 Jayda Leday with 10 points and 5 rebounds; #21 Mikeala Quave with 6 points and 3 rebounds; #4 Zoe Selby with 2 points and 3 rebounds; and #33 Gracie McDaniel with 1 point and 4 rebounds.

    Game 3: EC 46 vs Big Sandy 37

The Lady Bucs were led by #12 Ja’Mya Anderson with 13 points and 9 rebounds; #5 Jayda Leday with 11 points and 9 rebounds; #21 Mikeala Quave with 11 points and 6 rebounds; #33 Gracie McDaniel with 6 points and 7 rebounds; #4 Zoe Selby with 2 points and 3 rebounds; #11 Mallory Frederick with 2 points and 1 rebound; and #10 Isabella Quave with 1 points and 1 rebound.

    Game 4: EC 40 vs Woden 29   

   The Lady Bucs hosted the Anahuac Lady Panthers on Tuesday, December 10th. The Lady Bucs will be on the road on Tuesday, December 17th as they travel to Kirbyville to take on the Lady Wildcats. They will be back home on Friday, December 20th as they host the Warren Lady Warriors. The Lady Bucs will compete in the EC Christmas Classic, December 26th – December 28th.
