The East Chambers High School Baseball Program recently hosted its annual Summer Baseball Camp, bringing together young athletes from across the community for three days of instruction, skill development, and plenty of fun on the diamond.

Held July 7th – July 9th at the East Chambers Baseball Field, the camp welcomed incoming second through fifth graders during the morning session, followed by incoming sixth graders through freshmen in the afternoon. Campers had the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of baseball while improving their hitting, fielding, throwing, baserunning, and overall knowledge of the game in a positive and encouraging environment.

Throughout the week, the East Chambers coaching staff focused on teaching the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and a strong work ethic while helping each player build confidence both on and off the field.

The camp was led by East Chambers baseball coaches Bryant Collier, Zach Vincent, and Jason Broomas, who were assisted by members of the Buccaneer baseball program. The coaches enjoyed investing in the next generation of Buccaneers and helping young athletes grow their love for the game.

The East Chambers Baseball coaches would like to extend a sincere thank you to this year’s camp sponsors for their generous support:

  • Texaco
  • East Chambers County Bank
  • Clarus Group
  • Designs By Beauty

Their contributions helped make this year’s camp a success and provided a great experience for every participant.

The coaching staff would also like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the parents and the entire East Chambers community for their continued encouragement and support of the baseball program.

“We truly appreciate everyone who helped make this year’s camp a success,” the coaches shared. “Thank you to our sponsors, parents, volunteers, and community for supporting our program. We enjoyed spending the week with these young athletes and look forward to seeing everyone back at camp next year.”

With another successful summer camp in the books, the future looks bright for East Chambers Baseball as the next generation of Buccaneers continues to develop their skills and passion for the game.
