East Chambers Lady Bucs goes 1 and 1 on the week.

The Lady Bucs Volleyball team traveled to Warren on Tuesday night and lost in three sets 14-25, 21-25, and 21-25. The Lady Bucs came back strong as they traveled to Kirbyville Friday night and came away with the win in 4 sets 21-25, 25-21, 25-22, 25-21. Coach Snipes said, “We had a battle within ourselves all night. It was like trying to succeed while in quicksand.” Coach Snipes is talking about 73% of Kirbyville’s points were due to East Chambers errors. Coach Snipes also said, “Although it’s tough to have games of this nature, you are going to have them and it’s an opportunity to build character as a team. To come out on top in a game like this will hopefully build some momentum for the future.” East Chambers was led by #2 Maci Charpiot with 16 assists, #8 Leah Smith with 9 Kills, # 15 Quincy Wilcox with 6 Kills and #11 Bailey Kahla with 5 Kills.East Chambers now has a record of 2-1 in district. The Lady Bucs will continue District play this week as they host Woodville on Tuesday and travel to Anahuac on Friday.
