East Chambers Lady Bucs Basketball Overall 18-11, District 6-5

  The East Chambers Lady Bucs hosted the Kirbyville Lady Wildcats on Monday, January 20th and defeated the Lady Wildcats 50-17 in District play. 

  They were led by #11 Mallory Frederick with 13 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals; #21 Mikeala Quave with 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals; #33 Gracie McDaniel with 6 points and 5 rebounds; #1 Hailey Hjelle with 4 points and 4 rebounds; #4 Zoe Selby with 4 pints, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals; #25 Jadynn Smith with 4 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 steals; #10 Isabella Quave with 3 points, 1 rebound, 4 assists, and 3 steals; #22 Steeeley Franklin with 3 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals; #3 Jimena Vargas with 1 point and 3 steals; and #12 Ja’Mya Anderson with 1 point, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals.

  On Friday, January 24th, the Lady Bucs traveled to Warren to take on the Lady Warriors and fell short 33-52.

  Leading the Lady Bucs were #21 Mikeala Quave with 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals; #12 Ja’Mya Anderson with 7 points, 14 rebounds, 2 assists, and 5 steals; #1 Hailey Hjelle with 5 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist; #11 Mallory Frederick with 4 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals; #33 Gracie McDaniel with 4 points and 3 rebounds; #22 Steeley Franklin with 3 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals; and #25 Jadynn Smith with 2 points and 3 rebounds.

  The East Chambers Lady Bucs hosted the Orangefield Lady Bobcats on Tuesday, January 28th.

  The Lady Bucs will travel to Hardin on Friday, January 31st to take on the Hardin Lady Hornets.
