East Chambers FFA Supports the Johnny Ackel Memorial Rodeo With Service and Heart

  The East Chambers FFA chapter proudly contributed to the success of the Johnny Ackel Memorial Rodeo, showing leadership, responsibility, and a strong commitment to community service throughout the multi‑day event.

Arena Assistance: Tucker Cart Steps Up

  On Saturday morning during the Tristen Parker Invitational, FFA member Tucker Cart played a vital role behind the chutes. He worked and roped steers and bulls after the kids fell off, helping move the animals safely back to the pens. His quick work and steady presence kept the event running smoothly and demonstrated the dependable work ethic East Chambers FFA members are known for.

Cooking for the Crowd: Concession Stand Crew

  Throughout Friday and Saturday, East Chambers FFA members staffed the concession stand, cooking and serving food for contestants, families, and spectators. Their teamwork kept the stand operating efficiently during some of the busiest hours of the rodeo. The students’ willingness to work long shifts highlighted their dedication to supporting local events and representing their chapter with pride.

Senior Service for Scholarship Qualification

  On Thursday, senior FFA members took on an important responsibility: helping with garbage cleanup to qualify for scholarship consideration. Their efforts ensured the rodeo grounds stayed clean and welcoming for everyone attending the weekend’s events. This service not only fulfilled scholarship requirements but also reflected the seniors’ commitment to giving back to the community that supports them.

A Tradition of Leadership and Community

  The Johnny Ackel Memorial Rodeo is a cherished event that brings together families, competitors, and supporters from across the region. East Chambers FFA’s involvement whether in the arena, the concession stand, or behind the scenes cleanup showcased the chapter’s dedication to service and teamwork.
