East Chambers Bucs Compete at Regional Powerlifting Meet and Advance to State

Congratulations to the Bucs Powerlifting Team! The East Chambers Bucs traveled to Navasota on Saturday, March 7th to compete at Regionals. The Bucs have two powerlifters that have qualified to compete at State on Friday, March 17th in Abilene.
State Qualifiers:
Jovanni Gomez 198 weight class 5th place medalist – Squat 550, bench 385, deadlift 555, 1490 total
Sean Beighley 198 weight class 7th place – squat 485, bench 385, deadlift 535, 1400 total
Kullen Spencer 220 weight class 5th place medalist – 545 squat, 360, bench, 405 deadlift, 1310 total
Brylee Wilchek 165 weight class 7th place – 420 squat, 250 bench, 400 deadlift, 1070 total
Tyrus Bordelon 275 weight class 8th place – 415 squat, 335 bench, 425 deadlift, 1175 total
