East Chambers Bucs and Lady Bucs Swim Team

We kicked off the season Monday with 15 swimmers at our first practice! We are so excited to have full boys and girls teams this year.

This weekend, four of our swimmers traveled to Lufkin for our first meet, hosted by Pineywoods Community Academy. A big thank you to our friends from Vidor for teaming up with us for relays so our swimmers could compete in more than just their two individual events! You’ll see some of our Vidor friends in the relay pictures, too!

Our individual results:

Kalyssa Fontenot

• 1st place in the 100 yard breaststroke

• 2nd place in the 50 yard freestyle

Isaac Prescod

• 1st place in the 50 yard freestyle

• 1st place in the 100 yard breaststroke

Drew Frederick

• 5th place in the 100 yard butterfly

• 6th place in the 50 yard freestyle

Rush Todd

• 3rd place in the 100 yard freestyle

• 4th place in the 100 yard backstroke

So proud of our swimmers! I can’t wait to see what this swim season holds! Go Bucs!
